Young Star is JUNOs debut album, and was released the 24th of January on Jazzland Recordings. With producer Kristoffer Lo (Highasakite, PELbO etc.) they have created a catchy, but complex and experimental musical package that make room for both listening and dancing. During twelve tracks they present everything from lyrical, busy rap and free improvisation, to songs with melodic refrains and danceable grooves; their characteristic sound created by their mix of various and multiple species of jazz infiltrated by rock, hip hop, soul, expressionistic abstraction, ambient, pop, swing and R&B – presented in their own, well-known way.
