Romsdalsjul is the first album from the christmassy jazz quintet Jul på Romsdalsk, and will be released the 22nd of November on Øra Fonogram. The record features titles like “White Christmas”, “Let It Snow” and “The Christmas Song”, but translated and performed in norwegian by vocalist Malin Ødegård. To really convey the true christmas spirit, the quintet is on some of the tunes supplementet by a string quartet, but there are also well known, norwegian guest artists to appear: Ola Kvernberg (viola) and Erling Aksdal (piano).
